Manuel Ugarte’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is up in the air, with his name swirling in transfer rumors. Despite a fantastic start to his debut season, the Uruguayan midfielder’s performance dipped, resulting in him spending more time on the bench.

As per a recent report by journalist Graeme Bailey , Chelsea is eyeing Ugarte as a potential replacement for Conor Gallagher. However, the 24-year-old is adding complexity to the potential move for the Uruguayan.

Football Insider reports that Gallagher is not interested in moving to Newcastle this summer. This could open the door for other clubs to swoop in and take Ugarte if they present the right offer.

AC Milan and Juventus are both interested in signing the Uruguayan player, according to recent reports. The two Serie A clubs are eager to offer him more playing time and opportunities. However, they face competition.

Last summer, Chelsea competed with PSG for Ugarte while he was still with Sporting Lisbon. Now, it seems the Premier League club is renewing their interest in the 23-year-old, but if they don’t move off of Gallagher soon, then they might miss out on him again.
