Kylian Mbappé will be heading to Real Madrid soon, and while he’s yet to be officially presented, the Frenchman already has expectations placed on him ahead of his looming move. 

There’s no adaptation period for the 25-year-old. The soon-to-be former Paris Saint-Germain will be judged on one thing to determine whether his tenure is a success: trophies.

Diario AS’ Tomas Roncero notes (h/t Le10Sport) Mbappé will now have to prove himself within a well-established Real Madrid team. Above all, the Frenchman will play alongside leads like Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. 

One way for Mbappé to stand out in Spain is to win numerous titles, starting with the Champions League. According to Roncero, to assert himself in the Real Madrid locker room, the PSG star must also strive to win the Ballon d’Or.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner recently spoke about what lies ahead for his future in the Spanish capital, and he’s eager to know what lies ahead. Mbappé believes that this new chapter of his career will be “magical,” so he will definitely need to start winning numerous trophies starting next season.
